With limited formal training, Jane is largely self taught and by observing other artists and undertaking selective training, she has developed and extended her skills to emerge as an imaginative and able artist. Initially using conventional media to produce traditional work, she has now evolved a more abstract approach using a new range of media to strengthen the formal aspects of her images. Her evolving use of new media has allowed her to develop a distinctive style of her own and the work here demonstrates her broad scope. Jane has more recently added printmaking to her skill set. She exhibits with ‘Marlborough Artists’ and ‘The Guild of Wiltshire Artists’ and at the John Bowen Gallery, Malmsbury with 'Hook Artists' and 'The Artzeit Group'. She also shows work at ‘Pewsey Gallery & Arts Centre’.
